We’re over stimulated, over consuming, our nervous systems are dysregulated and our bodies are out of balance.  We weren’t meant to absorb the worlds pain to this magnitude.  We weren’t meant to believe we can single handily fix it.  

Joy is becoming a guilty pleasure, and we spend more time in front of screens than in nature.  We were meant to walk in the river, commune with trees, follow the insects flower to flower, listen to the waves, observe the mycelium network, take our shoes off and absorb the forest floor, and listen to the birds.  

Technology is a wonderful tool, and staying connected has been a massive upgrade.  We have more information available to us than ever before, but we have to choose to utilize this tool in our body’s best interest.  

This is more than an invitation, this is a request, to put the phone down, turn the tv off, and head out into your favorite version of nature.  Fall in love with the beauty of this planet and witness just how connected to it we still are; it has the ability to regulate our nervous system and show us our place in this world, it’s up to us to hear the call.
